KERMODE/ Visual identity & cover design
Kermode is a Canadian artist whose work blends beauty and darkness, the ancient and the futuristic, with an aesthetic that feels both elegant and abstract. His universe is surreal and mysterious, existing outside of clear cultural or stylistic references.
For this project, I created a custom logotype and monogram, two cover artworks (one for the EP Been A While and one for ‘Momentum’), as well as a motion design video for Spotify and social media. The logo was designed to reflect Kermode’s unique identity—timeless and original, avoiding clichés while balancing elegance with edge.
The covers were designed using a provided image as a base, with added text and graphic elements symbols, textures, lines. To give a poster or magazine-like feel. The visual direction is centered on a dark, abstract mood, with a color palette of black, white, and green tones.
