THE CHEF’S KISS
The Chef's Kiss is a visual exploration of precision and mastery.
Drawing parallels between cooking and iaidō, a Japanese martial art involving the drawing of a katana, the film explores the quest for balance between these two disciplines, united by their exacting nature.
The preparation of a dish by our chef serves as the narrative thread. Evocative images convey the sensations, rigour and instinct that drive each gesture throughout the film.
The Chef's Kiss delves into the delicate equilibrium between mastery and abandon, discipline and creativity.
Artefact Agency commissioned me to create the title design and poster for the film.
